This icing dries candy-hard. It makes for a solid "glue" to assemble the gingerbread houses with.

Mix ingredients

4 C
Powdered Sugar
3 Tbsp
Meringue Powder
6 Tbsp
Water, warm
1 tsp
Peppermint Candy Oil
Instructions
In a standing mixer, beat all of these ingredients until the icing forms peaks, approximately 10 minutes with a standing mixer. If the icing looks glossy and is not as stiff as expected, run the mixer longer (and at a higher speed) and potentially add a little more powdered sugar.
